Customer Service Agent – Dispatch Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Service Agent to join our Operations Centre in Christchurch, supporting key contracts that deliver essential community services. The role involves handling voice and non‑voice interactions, providing exceptional service, and coordinating solutions across direct and back‑office channels.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound customer contacts via phone, email and chat.
• Deliver accurate information and resolve issues while maintaining high‑quality standards.
• Coordinate solutions with internal teams and back‑office functions.
• Document interactions and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work the afternoon shift (Sunday‑Thursday, 1:30 pm‑10:00 pm).

Required profile

• Professional, warm and friendly telephone manner with clear communication.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English proficiency.
• Experience in a customer service environment, preferably a contact centre.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Comfortable working in an MS Windows environment.
