Customer Experience Representative – Adventure Tourism

About the role

Join the iconic adventure tourism teams behind Shotover Jet and Dart River Adventures in Queenstown. As a Customer Experience Representative you will help visitors create unforgettable memories while delivering friendly, professional service across bookings, retail and photography sales.

Key responsibilities

• Assist guests with bookings, reservations and ticketing for Shotover Jet and Dart River Adventures.
• Support retail operations and photography sales, ensuring accurate transactions.
• Provide warm, professional face‑to‑face service, answering enquiries and resolving issues.
• Share the stories, values and cultural heritage of Ngāi Tahu Tourism with visitors.
• Occasionally work shifts at the Dart River Adventures site in Glenorchy, with transport provided.

Required profile

• Previous customer‑service experience in a fast‑paced, people‑focused environment.
• Team player who remains calm under pressure.
• Physically fit, safety‑conscious and able to work weekdays, weekends and public holidays.
• Full driver’s licence (P‑endorsement preferred or willingness to obtain).
• Interest in learning about Ngāi Tahu culture, reo Māori and tikanga.
