About the role

Join the Auckland Distribution team as a Customer Experience Consultant, where you will combine outstanding service with commercial insight. You will act as a trusted advisor, turning enquiries into long‑term relationships and driving growth for the steel business.

Key responsibilities

Process orders and prepare accurate quotes while spotting sales opportunities.
Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate steel solutions.
Provide expert guidance, upsell complementary products and build lasting client relationships.
Deliver seamless service across phone, email, web and in‑person channels.

Required profile

Natural communicator with strong commercial instincts.
Proactive, solutions‑focused and passionate about customer success.
Accurate, organised and able to manage multiple priorities confidently.
Enjoys turning enquiries into satisfied, repeat customers.
