Crisis Services Team Leader

About the role

The Crisis Services Team Leader will head a dedicated social work and 24/7 crisis response team delivering vital support to victims and survivors of sexual harm across the Counties Manukau community. Reporting to the Clinical Manager, you will balance team leadership with a small personal caseload to ensure timely, high‑quality client care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide systems leadership, supervision and clinical guidance to social workers and Court Support Advocates.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operational functions, allocate referrals, monitor caseloads and conduct file audits.
• Ensure contract, reporting and compliance requirements are met to the highest standards.
• Represent CSC at sector forums, training events and stakeholder meetings, including with Police.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners and service users.

Required profile

• Fully registered social work professional (SWRBNZ) with clinical and leadership experience.
• Proven experience supervising or mentoring staff and managing risk, casework and client allocation.
• Strong cultural competency and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
• Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
