Creative Industries Teacher (Design, Visual Communication & Digital Technologies)

About the role

Diocesan School for Girls is hiring a full-time, fixed-term Creative Industries teacher starting Term 1, 2027 (2 February 2027) and ending 26 January 2028. The school's Creative Industries faculty covers food technology, design and visual communication, digital technologies, digital media design and materials design technologies. It offers students a dual pathway with NCEA and the International Baccalaureate; IB teaching experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.

Required profile

• Ideally able to teach both Design and Visual Communication (DVC) and Digital Technologies; other Creative Industries specialisms are welcome if stated in the application.
• Passionate about teaching young women.
• Skilled to teach across technologies (Years 7-13), with specialist expertise in DVC and/or Digital Technologies.
• Committed to a friendly, collegial and supportive environment.
• Open to involvement in co-curricular activities (encouraged but not essential).
