About the role
The Court Registry Support Officer provides essential administrative and customer‑service support to the Rotorua District Court, ensuring smooth daily operations and helping the public access justice.
Key responsibilities
- Support courtroom operations and assist during court hearings.
- Assist Judges and Court Registry Officers both inside and outside the courtroom.
- Provide professional frontline customer service to court users.
- Manage court files, correspondence, and registry documentation.
- Coordinate mail, supplies and other administrative processes.
- Support the jury service function and liaise with jurors.
- Maintain accurate records and data across court systems.
Required profile
- Proven experience in customer service.
- Confident, able to multitask and adapt to change.
- Flexible, motivated to learn and enjoy challenges.

- Salary band $56,343 – $74,416 per year (based on experience).
