Court Registry Support Officer

About the role
The Court Registry Support Officer provides essential administrative and customer‑service support to the North Shore District Court. Working closely with Judges, Court Registry Officers and jurors, you will help ensure smooth day‑to‑day court operations.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver timely and courteous customer service to the public and court users.
- Assist Judges and Registry Officers inside and outside the courtroom, including introductions in English and Te Reo Māori.
- Support the jury service function and assist jurors during trial hearings.
- Perform general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, filing, and managing incoming and outgoing mail.
- Handle evidence exhibits, manage case files, and perform data‑entry tasks.
- Visit the local prison bi‑weekly to coordinate inmate‑related court matters.
Required profile
- Proven experience in a customer‑service environment.
- Confident, adaptable, and able to multitask in a fast‑changing setting.
- Motivated to learn and take on new challenges.
