Country Manager – New Zealand (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Country Manager to lead our brand and growth initiatives across New Zealand. This remote position will drive strategic marketing, customer acquisition, and market expansion for a fast‑growing online gaming company.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans for brand building, acquisition and market growth in New Zealand.
• Lead multi‑channel marketing campaigns (TV, radio, print, OOH, digital, affiliates, CRM, PR).
• Adapt global brand strategies and messaging to local audience preferences.
• Manage relationships with media agencies, creative partners, production houses and media owners.
• Oversee agency selection, commercial negotiations and external partnerships.
• Own annual marketing plans, budgets, targets and performance reporting.
• Analyse campaign ROI, CPA and acquisition metrics to optimise future initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with New Zealand gambling regulations and responsible advertising standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years senior marketing or commercial leadership in a high‑volume transactional industry.
• At least 3 years experience in the B2C online gaming sector in New Zealand.
• Proven track record launching brands and driving rapid growth in the NZ market.
• Strong understanding of NZ advertising, media and marketing landscape.
• Hands‑on experience managing large above‑the‑line budgets and end‑to‑end campaign delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, recruit and develop high‑performing teams.
• Data‑driven, results‑oriented mindset with strong commercial awareness.
