Cost Controller – SAP CO, Fieldglass & Coupa

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cost Controller to provide financial oversight, manage contractor cost governance, and drive budgeting activities within an industrial environment. The role will focus on SAP CO, Fieldglass, Coupa, and advanced Excel to ensure accurate cost reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Act as primary user of SAP CO to monitor cost center performance and internal orders.
• Manage contractor timesheets and service entries in SAP Fieldglass.
• Oversee Coupa purchase‑to‑pay workflows and ensure correct budget coding.
• Perform reconciliations between Coupa, Fieldglass, and SAP GL.
• Conduct monthly plan‑vs‑actual variance analysis and develop EAC forecasts for maintenance campaigns.
• Forecast monthly cash outflows based on maintenance schedules and contractor mobilization.
• Validate contractor invoices against work completion records and audit vendor billing.
• Calculate and post monthly accruals to support month‑end closing.
• Collaborate with maintenance, plant, and project managers to ensure cost control and budget compliance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of cost controlling experience in Oil & Gas, Mining, or heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Strong hands‑on experience with SAP CO, SAP Fieldglass, and Coupa.
• Expert‑level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Data Modeling).
• Proven ability in budgeting, forecasting, accruals, and variance analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
