Corporate Sales Account Manager – New Zealand

About the role

The Corporate Sales Account Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding Malaysia Airlines' portfolio of corporate, travel management company (TMC), MICE and SME accounts across New Zealand. You will drive revenue growth, negotiate agreements and act as the airline’s brand ambassador in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute account strategies to retain, grow and convert corporate, TMC, MICE and SME clients.
• Negotiate preferred supplier agreements, tenders and RFPs to secure profitable contracts.
• Maintain strong relationships with key clients and internal stakeholders to ensure service excellence.
• Conduct regular account reviews, performance analysis and market intelligence gathering.
• Collaborate with codeshare carriers and trade partners to boost revenue and brand visibility.
• Identify new business opportunities and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
• Support commercial initiatives, promotions and strategic planning across the region.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field.
• At least 5 years of corporate account management experience, preferably in travel or aviation.
• Proven B2B sales experience within corporate travel, airline products and services.
• Strong negotiation, communication and presentation abilities.
• Commercial acumen with analytical and strategic planning skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, deliver high‑level customer service and travel domestically/internationally as needed.
• Valid driver’s licence.
