Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Coordinator to join Wellington Women’s House, a small dedicated team supporting women’s housing and wellbeing in Mount Victoria, Wellington. In this part‑time, on‑site position you will take ownership of day‑to‑day operations and see the direct impact of your work on residents.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer housing programmes, including intake, allocation and follow‑up for residents.
• Provide direct support to women living in the house, addressing their immediate needs and linking them to external services.
• Maintain accurate records, manage tenancy documentation and ensure compliance with organisational policies.
• Collaborate with partner agencies, volunteers and staff to deliver a seamless service experience.

Required profile

• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Experience working with vulnerable populations or in community‑based settings is desirable.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a close‑knit team.
