About the role
We are looking for a full‑time Conveyancing Assistant to join our busy Conveyancing Team in Clevedon. You will support fee‑earners with a variety of administrative and conveyancing tasks, providing a vital link between the firm and its clients.
Key responsibilities
- Assist fee‑earners with day‑to‑day conveyancing work and administrative duties.
- Communicate with clients to keep them informed of case progress.
- Draft conveyancing documents and manage detailed diaries.
- Operate the case‑management system from matter opening through to final billing.
- Maintain and update internal databases and records.
Required profile
- Accurate and fast typist with prior experience in conveyancing.
- Strong client‑facing communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines efficiently.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with Connect legal software (advantageous).
- Experience with RedBricks legal software (advantageous).
