About the role
We are seeking a Contracts Administrator to join our construction team in Christchurch Central. The position is on‑site and centres on managing the commercial side of each project, ensuring contracts are negotiated effectively and project margins are protected. You will work closely with project managers, suppliers and clients to keep procurement moving smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Own the commercial side of the project, overseeing contract performance and profitability.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Maintain procurement flow to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Protect project margins by monitoring costs and identifying commercial risks.
Required profile
- Strong commercial mindset within a construction environment.
- Excellent negotiation abilities.
- Ability to keep procurement processes moving efficiently.
- Focus on margin protection and cost control.
- Comfortable working on‑site in a fast‑paced project setting.
