Construction Branch Manager – North Otago

About the role

The position is a senior leadership role overseeing the North Otago operation of a well‑established South Island construction contractor. You will own an existing business unit, guide a capable team, and influence the strategic direction of the region.

Key responsibilities

• Drive operational performance and ensure profitable project delivery.
• Lead business development initiatives to grow the client base.
• Manage financial outcomes, budgeting and reporting.
• Oversee health & safety compliance across all sites.
• Develop and mentor staff, fostering a high‑performing culture.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in the New Zealand construction sector.
• Proven track record of leading teams, projects and delivering commercial results.
• Strong understanding of contracts, project delivery processes and financial management.
• Excellent client‑relationship skills and a passion for business growth.
