Community Manager

About the role

The Attention Seeker is looking for a proactive Community Manager to oversee online conversations for multiple high‑profile New Zealand brands. You will be the voice of each brand, ensuring timely, on‑brand engagement across a variety of social platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Google Business Reviews, and app reviews.
• Maintain a consistent, on‑brand tone without using generic copy‑paste replies.
• Identify and escalate risks, sensitive interactions, or customer‑service issues before they escalate.
• Support community activations such as giveaways, shout‑outs, and surprise‑and‑delight moments.
• Track conversations, flag emerging trends, opportunities, and recurring themes.
• Assist with scheduling and publishing approved content.
• Compile reporting support, including screenshots, community highlights, sentiment tracking, and FAQs.
• Work with social‑media management tools (Sprinklr, Emplifi, Sense, or similar) and adapt to each client’s workflow.

Required profile

• Warm, fast, and precise communicator.
• Ability to manage multiple brand voices simultaneously.
• Highly organised with strong prioritisation skills across several accounts.
• Team player who escalates early and communicates clearly.
• Up‑to‑date with social‑media trends and platform updates.

Required skills

• Experience with Sprinklr, Emplifi, Sense, or comparable social‑media management platforms.

What we offer

• Full‑time, on‑site role in Auckland with a rotating 7‑day roster.
• Salary range $55,000‑$60,000 depending on experience.
