About the role

We are seeking a Commercial and Corporate Lawyer to join our high‑performing team in Wellington. You will work with leading New Zealand businesses, not‑for‑profits and family offices, providing strategic legal advice across a broad range of commercial matters.

Key responsibilities

• Structure and execute commercial transactions, including capital raising and procurement deals.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts.
• Manage commercial disputes and provide dispute resolution advice.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and identify opportunities to add value.
• Guide and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in commercial and corporate law.
• Demonstrated experience in structuring transactions, capital raising, and contract work.
• Strong appetite for learning and professional growth.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
