Commercial Account Manager – Citrix Business Growth

About the role

Join Dicker Data as a Commercial Account Manager to drive the growth of Citrix solutions across New Zealand’s commercial mid‑market. You will prospect new customers, nurture existing relationships and work closely with partners and internal specialists to deliver digital workspace value.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new Citrix business in the NZ mid‑market through proactive prospecting and pipeline development.
• Identify customer needs and align Citrix solutions to demonstrate clear business value.
• Develop and execute territory and account plans to achieve revenue and market‑penetration targets.
• Collaborate with partner sales teams to build joint opportunities and advance deals through the sales cycle.
• Lead end‑user engagements from discovery to proposal, leveraging solution specialists.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of new logos, renewals and expansion opportunities.
• Identify and execute upsell and cross‑sell opportunities within existing accounts.
• Manage renewals proactively to support retention and protect recurring revenue.

Required profile

• Results‑driven, commercially focused with strong analytical abilities.
• Proactive, self‑directed and motivated with a growth mindset.
• Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Experience in hunter‑led sales, business development or account management.
• Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple stakeholders.
• Proven success selling into the commercial mid‑market.
• Strong commercial acumen and opportunity‑qualification skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Citrix solutions.
• Understanding of virtualisation technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure concepts.
