Cloud Engineer

About the role

As a Cloud Engineer within Datacom's Group IT team, you will drive automation and innovation across cloud operations, enhancing customer experience and platform maturity. You will work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and act as a mentor and technical expert for cloud and productivity solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Promote an "automation first" culture to improve service delivery and financial viability of cloud engagements.
• Provide remote technical support via phone, email, or online tools, meeting defined response times.
• Resolve client issues efficiently while maintaining clear communication and accurate support records.
• Mentor Support Analysts, facilitating knowledge transfer and skill development.
• Elevate automation and maturity across Azure and productivity platforms.
• Identify and escalate complex technical problems, managing them through to resolution.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of IT experience, preferably with a development background.
• Strong understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, Entra ID and related enterprise services.
• At least 2 years operating software, hardware or networks in a cloud environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with proven problem‑analysis abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in large, agile teams and contribute to continuous improvement.
