Clinical Lead – Vocational Rehabilitation

About the role

Habit Health is seeking a senior clinician to lead and grow its Vocational Rehabilitation Service in Wellington. You will drive high‑quality, client‑centred outcomes and build strong local relationships to support successful return‑to‑work pathways.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and champion the Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) Service across the region.
• Coordinate and triage new referrals, ensuring timely support.
• Empower a multidisciplinary team of health professionals to deliver exceptional rehabilitation services.
• Facilitate local multidisciplinary team meetings and promote best‑practice care.
• Monitor service quality, identify improvement opportunities, and implement solutions.
• Provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and professional guidance to staff and contractors.
• Partner with the Regional Manager and Team Leads to enhance team performance, wellbeing, and culture.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience focused on vocational rehabilitation.
• 5+ years of experience in physiotherapy or occupational therapy.
• Strong relationship‑building and leadership abilities.
• Sound knowledge of ACC operational, medical and policy requirements.
• Membership in professional associations required by ACC contracts.
