Clinical Lead – General Practice

About the role

Tend Linwood is seeking a senior clinician to combine hands‑on patient care with strategic clinical leadership. Based on the east side of Christchurch, you will work within a modern, collaborative GP environment while guiding a multidisciplinary team toward high‑quality, patient‑centred care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical care across a broad range of general practice presentations.
• Lead and mentor the clinic team, fostering a positive, high‑performing culture.
• Drive clinical quality improvement and support the delivery of GP services.
• Utilise inbox support and the Scribe note‑taking tool to enhance patient and clinician experience.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure coordinated, connected care.

Required profile

• Experienced senior doctor with a background in General Practice.
• GP Fellowship (NZ) or comparable international qualification.
• Confidence managing diverse GP presentations.
• Passion for clinical leadership, mentoring, and team development.
• Commitment to high‑quality, patient‑centred care.
• Strong collaboration skills and enthusiasm for multidisciplinary work.
