Clinical Educator - Cardiac

About the role

Allevia Hospitals is seeking a part‑time Clinical Educator to join its Cardiac surgical and investigations team. This 0.5 FTE on‑site position in Epsom, Auckland focuses on developing and delivering education programmes for cardiac clinicians.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and evaluate cardiac‑specific education curricula for surgical and investigative staff.
• Deliver workshops, seminars and bedside teaching sessions.
• Assess competency and provide feedback to ensure clinical standards are met.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify learning needs.
• Maintain up‑to‑date educational resources and documentation.

Required profile

• Qualified nursing or allied health professional with experience in cardiac care.
• Previous experience in a clinical education or training role.
• Ability to work part‑time (0.5 FTE) on‑site.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
