Clinical Consultant - Joint Replacement

About the role

Join a leading medical‑technology company as a Clinical Consultant supporting joint replacement surgeries in Dunedin and surrounding regions. You will work directly in operating theatres, providing hands‑on clinical and technical assistance while gaining exposure to cutting‑edge robotic platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Provide in‑theatre clinical and technical support during knee and hip replacement procedures.
• Guide surgeons and staff on the safe and effective use of Stryker orthopaedic products.
• Develop and maintain product knowledge across the joint replacement portfolio.
• Deliver product in‑servicing sessions and training to clinical teams.
• Travel to hospitals across the designated region based on surgical schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Allied Health, biomedical engineering or a related clinical field.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare environment.
• Valid New Zealand driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Experience working in operating‑theatre environments.
• Familiarity with orthopaedic or musculoskeletal procedures.
• Ability to use and support medical devices and robotic platforms.
