Client Services Host (Christchurch)

About the role

Join PwC’s Internal Firm Services team in Christchurch and be the first friendly face visitors encounter. You will ensure a seamless, professional experience for clients, staff and contractors across reception, meeting rooms and events.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome clients, visitors, contractors and staff with a high standard of customer service.
• Act as the first point of contact for office enquiries, phone calls and day‑to‑day workplace support.
• Support meeting‑room bookings, set‑up, reset and maintain exceptional presentation standards.
• Coordinate catering, front‑of‑house and barista services for meetings and events.
• Liaise with IT and Facilities to resolve AV, room or maintenance issues.
• Assist with event set‑up, pack‑down and general coordination.
• Handle mail, courier, stationery and other routine workplace needs.
• Maintain checklists, process documents and administrative tasks accurately.
• Support workplace safety as a First Aider and Fire Warden, including emergency procedures.

Required profile

• Relevant education or training in hospitality, customer service, business administration or related field (beneficial but not essential).
• Experience in a receptionist, hospitality or customer‑facing role, preferably in a professional services or corporate environment.
• Positive attitude with a genuine commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and a professional phone manner.
• Attention to detail and ability to produce high‑quality work consistently.
• Agility to manage changing priorities and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
