Cleaning Technician

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Cleaning Technician to join our SERVPRO® franchise team. You will support restoration projects by preparing sites, operating cleaning equipment, and ensuring a safe, orderly environment from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Load and organize the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies for each project.
• Prepare rooms and areas for restoration work, including staging and equipment setup.
• Perform restoration cleaning processes as directed and pack out customer contents.
• Track customer contents using ICAT systems and maintain clear communication with supervisors and teammates.
• Execute end‑of‑day and end‑of‑job cleanup, leaving sites orderly.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, office, and grounds as assigned.

Required profile

• Experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction preferred; custodial or housekeeping background a plus.
• Strong work ethic and clear oral communication skills.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; IICRC certification preferred.

Required skills

• IICRC certification (preferred).
• Proficiency with ICAT inventory tracking system.
• Operation of commercial cleaning and restoration equipment.
