About the role

We are seeking a Civil Project Manager to lead civil construction projects across Gisborne. The role involves overseeing all phases from planning to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead civil projects across Gisborne, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Manage project teams, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to achieve milestones.
• Coordinate with clients to understand requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.
• Oversee project budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring cost control.
• Ensure delivery from planning through to completion, maintaining quality standards.
• Monitor progress and quality, conducting regular site inspections.
• Resolve issues and risks promptly to keep projects on schedule.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading civil construction projects in New Zealand.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to work closely with clients and stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of budgeting and financial control.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
