About the role
We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to join our forward‑thinking port team in the heart of the Marlborough Sounds. The role offers a varied mix of capital projects, asset management and on‑site engineering work, based in Waitohi/Picton. You will play a key part in delivering safe and sustainable infrastructure for the region.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, planning and delivery of port infrastructure projects.
- Support asset management activities and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Perform on‑site engineering tasks, including inspections, surveys and coordination with contractors.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to balance technical solutions with practical project delivery.
Required profile
- Qualified civil engineer with a strong interest in infrastructure and construction.
- Ability to work on‑site in a dynamic environment and manage multiple project aspects.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
