Checkout Team Member – Fixed-Term (Queenstown)

About the role

Join The Warehouse team in Queenstown as a Checkout Team Member. You will provide fast, friendly service at the checkout while ensuring customers feel valued. This fixed‑term position runs until 30 April 2027 with a schedule of Tuesday to Saturday, 7:30 am‑4:00 pm.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the point‑of‑sale system to process purchases accurately.
• Deliver courteous, efficient service to every customer.
• Maintain a clean and organised checkout area.
• Handle cash, card, and other payment methods securely.
• Resolve minor transaction issues and direct more complex queries to supervisors.

Required profile

• Enjoys working in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
• Demonstrates patience, problem‑solving ability and a positive attitude.
• Comfortable standing for long periods.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to learn new systems.
