CCTV Assistant – Queenstown

About the role

Veolia is seeking a CCTV Assistant to support its CCTV inspection campaign across the Queenstown Lakes District. The role involves delivering safe and efficient wastewater and stormwater network inspections and flushing, while adhering to Veolia’s processes and policies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform onsite CCTV inspections of wastewater and stormwater networks.
• Operate jetting and flushing equipment to clear or unblock pipes as required.
• Support the regional operations team and report equipment issues to the CCTV Team Leader.
• Maintain fleet and equipment serviceability.
• Participate in local toolbox and health & safety meetings and follow Veolia’s OHS and environmental policies.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s business management system and client requirements.

Required profile

• Valid Confined Space, First Aid and Site Safe certificates.
• At least 1 year of experience operating CCTV equipment.
• Proficiency with CCTV and jetting/flushing systems.
• Previous experience in three‑waters network operations is advantageous.
• Computer literate.
• Current Class 1 New Zealand driver’s licence.
• Willingness to work out‑of‑hours or away from home when required.
