Catering Assistant & Kitchenhand – Flexible Casual Work

About the role

We are looking for reliable and motivated Catering Assistants and Kitchenhands to join our flexible casual team in Queenstown. The role involves supporting chefs and kitchen teams across a variety of hospitality venues, including hotels, restaurants, resorts and event locations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and basic kitchen duties.
• Dishwashing and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
• Support chefs and kitchen teams during busy service periods.
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
• Provide general kitchen and catering support, including event and function catering when required.

Required profile

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work in fast‑paced environments.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Previous kitchen, catering or hospitality experience is preferred.

Required skills
