Category & Insights Manager

About the role

DB Breweries is seeking a Category & Insights Manager to lead insight‑driven growth across Traditional Liquor and On‑Premises channels, as well as International Premium and RTD categories. You will act as the channel champion, partnering with sales, marketing and key customers to translate data into actionable strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver actionable insights, reporting and recommendations for Traditional and On‑Premise channels.
• Use shopper and category data to support business decisions and customer conversations.
• Lead category insights throughout planning cycles, customer reviews and product launches.
• Support development of long‑term channel strategies and annual plans.
• Present and align plans with key customers, tracking performance against targets.
• Lead category conversations with customers to drive growth opportunities.
• Provide recommendations on range, pricing, promotions and space.
• Partner with Brand and Trade Marketing to deliver key initiatives and new product launches.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in category, sales or marketing, preferably FMCG.
• Strong analytical mindset with confidence working with data.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and build strong relationships.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Experience with scan‑data tools such as Aztec.
• Experience with Nielsen data platforms.
