Category & Insights Manager – Grocery Channel

About the role

We are seeking a Category & Insights Manager to lead our Grocery channel strategy for domestic beer brands. In this role you will combine shopper and category data with strong analytical insight to unlock growth for both mainstream and craft beers.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver insights and reporting that drive Grocery channel performance.
• Analyse shopper and category data (e.g., Nielsen, Quantium) to inform decisions.
• Support planning cycles, customer reviews and new product launches.
• Identify risks early and recommend corrective actions.
• Shape Grocery strategy and annual planning, turning insights into clear commercial recommendations.
• Partner with Revenue, Trade Marketing and Brand teams on joint business planning.
• Act as the primary category contact for Grocery customers, leading conversations on range, pricing, promotions and space.
• Champion the Domestic Beer category vision and contribute to NPD and trade presentations.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in category, sales or marketing, preferably within FMCG.
• Strong analytical mindset with a data‑driven approach.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and build strong relationships.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience using Nielsen scan data tools.
• Familiarity with Quantium shopper data tools (nice to have).
