About the role

Join sKids as a Casual Programme Assistant and become the friendly face that makes afternoons unforgettable for children across our Central Auckland sites. This flexible, as‑required position lets you work mainly in the afternoons, supporting fun, safe, and energetic after‑school programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in a variety of activities, ensuring safety and enjoyment.
• Maintain clean, tidy, and welcoming spaces for programme sessions.
• Assist the Programme Manager in delivering smooth, high‑energy sessions.
• Identify and report any behavioural, wellbeing, or safety concerns to the manager.

Required profile

• Legal right to work in New Zealand (valid visa or citizenship).
• Reliable transport to Mt Eden, Grey Lynn, Westmere or Newton sites.
• Enthusiasm for working with children; any experience such as babysitting, coaching or volunteering is valued.
• Reliability, energy and a commitment to making each session special.
