Casual Customer Service Banker - Hawke's Bay

About the role

BNZ is hiring a casual Customer Service Banker for its Hastings store, the first point of contact for customers on the branch floor. As a casual employee there are no guaranteed minimum hours and no regular pattern of work. The ideal candidate can work across the Hawke's Bay branches in Napier, Hastings and Havelock North, reporting to the Senior Partner.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers warmly and listen to their needs
• Process customer transactional banking needs
• Update customers' personal details and identification
• Answer general product and service enquiries and recommend solutions that help customers reach their financial goals
• Educate customers on online platforms, tools and digital solutions

Required profile

• Genuine desire to help customers and provide excellent service
• Previous customer service experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment; banking experience is not required and training is provided
• Can-do attitude, resilience and a logical approach to problem solving
• Keen eye for detail, self-motivated and energetic
• Multi-tasks, adapts well to change and builds lasting relationships with customers and colleagues
