Case Assessment Officer

About the role

The Case Assessment Officer will join Salt’s team in Auckland, working hybrid to review and triage incoming complaints, assess associated risks, and ensure timely resolution. This purpose‑driven position has a direct impact on individuals and the wider system.

Key responsibilities

• Review and triage complaints, prioritising based on urgency and risk.
• Assess risk levels and summarise case details for stakeholders.
• Engage relevant internal and external stakeholders to facilitate resolution.
• Manage urgent matters to drive timely outcomes.
• Maintain accurate case records and documentation.

Required profile

• Experience in case handling, complaint management or a similar administrative role.
• Strong analytical and judgement abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to work a hybrid schedule.
