Care Home & Village Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, people‑first manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of Broadview Lifecare & Village, an 85‑bed care home and hospital with a 27‑unit village in a rural New Zealand setting. Reporting to the Clinical Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a first‑class resident experience while driving financial performance and staff development.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations with a focus on quality, safety and resident satisfaction.
• Manage financial performance, P&L and identify growth opportunities.
• Support strategic planning, outcomes and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Lead, coach and develop multidisciplinary teams across the facility.
• Represent the Heritage Lifecare brand and build strong community connections.

Required profile

• Proven senior operational or branch management experience with full P&L responsibility.
• Strong business acumen and a track record of leading high‑performing teams.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, empathy and the ability to manage complex staffing and budgeting challenges.
• Understanding of the New Zealand aged‑care sector and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
