Business Development Representative (Remote, NZ)

About the role

Kickstart your sales career with a competitive base salary of $80,000 and OTE up to $128,000. As an Outbound Sales Development Representative you will work with our New Zealand sales team to generate qualified leads and drive growth for Employment Hero’s workforce‑management platform.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls, emails and lead follow‑ups.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets, contributing to company growth.
• Identify and qualify key decision‑makers within prospect organisations.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to hand over high‑potential leads.
• Research accounts, maintain a prospect database and route promising opportunities.
• Participate in online demos for prospects when required.

Required profile

• 1+ years of high‑volume outbound B2B sales experience.
• Proven track record of over‑achieving sales targets.
• Strong phone presence and resilience for full‑day calling.
• Ability to understand customer needs through discovery calls.
