Business Development Manager – Warehouse & Industrial Solutions

About the role

Astrolift is seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to drive growth of its warehouse and industrial equipment solutions across Northland, New Zealand. You will work on‑site, building relationships with existing clients and prospecting new opportunities to expand the company’s market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the industrial and warehouse sectors.
• Visit client sites to understand operational needs and propose tailored equipment solutions.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and negotiate sales agreements.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline through regular reporting, forecasting, and CRM updates.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate product information, delivery coordination, and post‑sale support.
• Represent Astrolift at industry events and contribute to regional sales strategies.

Required profile

• Proven B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in industrial, warehouse, or equipment supply.
• Strong customer relationship management skills, from prospecting to long‑term account stewardship.
• Ability to translate technical product features into practical operational benefits.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities with decision‑makers at all levels.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, with solid time‑management and organisational capabilities.
• Valid New Zealand driver’s licence and eligibility to work in New Zealand.
