About the role
The Business Development Manager will lead sales strategy, operations and budgeting for our orthopedic product portfolio within the assigned geographic region. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, establishing key surgeon relationships and expanding market presence.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute selling strategies and strategic sales plans to meet overall sales goals.
- Lead acquisition of new accounts and build long‑term relationships with surgeons and key stakeholders.
- Monitor market dynamics, industry trends, customer segmentation and buying processes to inform sales tactics.
- Manage a portfolio of orthopedic products, targeting sales, growth and profitability objectives.
- Identify and nurture a network of distributors, sub‑distributors or agents to increase product penetration.
- Collaborate with associations and internal teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Required profile
- Proven experience in sales or business development within the healthcare or medical device sector.
- Strong understanding of orthopedic products, clinical procedures and new product introductions.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with surgeons, key accounts and industry associations.
- Analytical mindset with knowledge of market trends, customer data and buying cycles.
