Business Development Manager

About the role

Join Nestlé Professional New Zealand as a Business Development Manager and drive growth across the country’s foodservice market. You will shape and execute the national business development strategy, building high‑value partnerships and unlocking new opportunities in channels such as contract catering, healthcare, aged care, QSR and more.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive business development plan for New Zealand.
• Identify white‑space opportunities, new customers and channels, and create tailored growth solutions.
• Lead top‑to‑top conversations, strategic reviews and quarterly business discussions with key accounts.
• Own the national pipeline, actively hunting new business while expanding existing relationships.
• Prepare and negotiate agreements, tenders and commercial proposals using data‑driven insights.
• Track forecasts, performance metrics and adjust strategies to meet commercial targets.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and Category teams to deliver winning customer solutions.
• Share market insights and best practices to enhance capability across the NZ business.

Required profile
