Business Development Manager - 3PL

About the role

We are a leading 3PL and fulfilment provider seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across New Zealand and Australia. This hunting role focuses on identifying and securing new opportunities while supporting e‑commerce and retail brands with warehousing, fulfilment and distribution solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities across NZ and Australia.
• Build relationships with business owners, operations managers, supply‑chain professionals and decision‑makers.
• Conduct face‑to‑face meetings, presentations and solution‑based sales discussions.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract signing.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients.
• Grow revenue and achieve individual sales targets.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers.

Required profile

• NZ citizenship or permanent residency.
• Proven B2B sales and business development experience.
• Experience in logistics, warehousing, freight, courier, transport, fulfilment or supply‑chain industries (highly desirable).
• Strong prospecting, lead generation and cold‑calling ability.
• Consultative and solution‑focused sales approach.
• Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and decision‑makers.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven mindset.
