Brewery Maintenance Technician – Electrical

About the role
Join the brewery team in Auckland to ensure safe, efficient production of high‑quality beer, cider and RTD beverages. You will be a hands‑on technical owner, supporting asset reliability and continuous improvement across the plant.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver safe, timely and cost‑effective maintenance in line with production and maintenance schedules.
- Perform reactive, planned and predictive maintenance on electrical equipment.
- Lead and support TPM and continuous‑improvement initiatives to reduce losses and boost performance.
- Act as the technical area owner for asset care, life‑extension and innovation.
- Collaborate closely with production, planning and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Uphold safety, quality, food‑safety and sustainability standards throughout the brewery.
Required profile
- Current New Zealand Electrical Practising Licence (mandatory).
- Experience in maintenance within FMCG, food or beverage manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of plant, machinery and maintenance engineering practices.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance reporting tools.
- Continuous‑improvement mindset (TPM, Lean or CI experience is beneficial).
- Ability to work collaboratively, adapt to change and share knowledge.
Required skills
- Electrical Practising Licence (NZ)
- CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) usage
- TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) methodology
- Lean / Continuous Improvement techniques
- Maintenance of utilities plant (boilers, compressors, refrigeration) – advantageous
