Brand & Consumer Activation Manager – Luxury Haircare

About the role

The Brand & Consumer Activation Manager will be the champion of Kérastase’s luxury hair‑care experience in New Zealand. Based in Auckland, you will connect the prestigious brand with discerning consumers and elite salon professionals, translating scientific innovation into compelling brand moments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute sophisticated activation strategies across online and offline channels to drive brand desire, consumer engagement and sales.
• Develop and manage end‑to‑end influencer programmes, recruiting local creators and premium content partners to amplify brand advocacy.
• Lead on‑ground execution of brand moments, translating regional concepts into local events, pop‑ups and salon experiences.
• Collaborate closely with sales, marketing and education teams to ensure a seamless, premium journey for salon partners and their clients.
• Build and nurture relationships with top‑tier salons, luxury retail partners and key industry influencers.
• Monitor market trends and campaign performance, using data‑driven insights to optimise ROI and reinforce Kérastase’s leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience in brand activation, preferably within a luxury or premium brand environment.
• Strong background in influencer marketing and a deep understanding of the New Zealand creator economy.
• Hands‑on event management expertise with the ability to deliver complex local activations.
• Consumer‑centric mindset with an innate understanding of luxury customer journeys.
• Excellent project management and analytical skills, capable of making data‑driven decisions.
