Branch Supervisor - Queenstown Airport

About the role

Avis Budget Group is hiring a Branch Supervisor for its Queenstown Airport branch. The supervisor assists the Branch Manager in supervising all operational functions and ensures customers have a positive experience through superior customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and process rental transactions
• Ensure vehicles are groomed and ready for service at the counters
• Coordinate the daily activities of the team and, where needed, train, coach and direct them
• Report noncompliance with policies and procedures to management
• Assist the manager with preparing shift schedules and reports

Required profile

• Previous managerial or leadership experience, including coaching, feedback and performance management (highly advantageous but not essential)
• Demonstrated judgement, problem-solving and initiative
• Experience in complaints handling, conflict resolution and negotiation
• Planning, organisation and multitasking skills
• Current and full New Zealand driver's licence

Required skills

• Competent use of the Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to learn new systems and software quickly

The shift roster is 40 hours per week (5 x 8-hour shifts, Monday to Sunday 8 am - 6.30 pm), including one weekend day per week and public holidays.
