BIM Lead – Architecture

About the role
WSP is seeking an experienced BIM Lead to join its Architectural team in New Zealand. Reporting to the Studio Leader, you will drive BIM best practice across architectural projects, ensuring high‑quality design and documentation that meet client expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Produce, manage and update Revit models with minimal supervision.
- Support the adoption and execution of BIM Execution & Documentation Plans.
- Lead the architectural team in advancing BIM standards and workflows.
- Collaborate with BIM leads and senior staff to deliver optimal outcomes for clients.
- Plan technical content for architectural projects and manage client relationships.
Required profile
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Architecture or Architectural Technology.
- 10+ years of experience in architecture, including extensive BIM practice.
- Deep understanding of engineering and building construction principles as they apply to BIM.
- Broad experience across a variety of building types and construction methods.
- Experience with complex integration of construction elements and multidisciplinary coordination.
Required skills
- Expert proficiency in Revit for modelling and data management.
