Banking Consultant – Part‑time (Auckland)

About the role

ANZ is looking for a part‑time Banking Consultant to join its Auckland branch. You will deliver exceptional retail banking experiences, guiding customers through transactions, needs‑based conversations and digital solutions (excluding home lending). The role is permanent, 20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule from Friday to Monday.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality service that meets customer needs and drives satisfaction.
• Use ANZ frameworks to assess financial requirements and recommend appropriate products or referrals.
• Educate customers on digital banking tools and encourage self‑service adoption.
• Support branch colleagues with workload sharing and knowledge exchange.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of bank processes, products and compliance standards.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus with a proven ability to achieve positive outcomes.
• Experience or capability in consumer lending.
• Excellent relationship‑building and networking skills.
• Good understanding of compliance requirements.
• High level of computer literacy.
