Banking Consultant – Part-time (Kaitaia)

About the role

As a Banking Consultant you will deliver an exceptional customer experience across ANZ’s retail product set (excluding home lending). You will work closely with customers to understand their financial needs, provide tailored advice, and promote digital banking solutions while upholding ANZ’s values and delivering strong financial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers and identify their needs throughout the banking journey.
• Use ANZ frameworks to explore and understand financial requirements, offering appropriate solutions or referrals.
• Educate customers on digital banking tools and encourage self‑service usage.
• Support branch teammates by sharing workload, ideas, and best practices.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of bank processes, products, and services to confidently meet customer needs.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus with a proven ability to deliver positive outcomes.
• Experience or aptitude in consumer lending.
• Excellent relationship and networking skills.
• Understanding of compliance requirements.
• Computer literacy and willingness to learn new technologies.
