About the role

Join ANZ’s Takanini branch as a Banking Consultant, where you will help customers with everyday banking needs while building trusted relationships. This part‑time permanent position is ideal for individuals who enjoy human connection and want to support people in making simple or life‑changing financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers and assist with a wide range of banking transactions.
• Listen to each customer’s priorities and tailor advice accordingly.
• Introduce and demonstrate digital banking tools in an easy‑to‑understand manner.
• Guide customers through account openings, updates, and product enquiries.
• Maintain compliance with banking regulations and security procedures.
• Collaborate with team members and share knowledge to foster a learning environment.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus, preferably with retail experience.
• Comfortable using and promoting digital channels.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing situations.
• Team‑oriented mindset with good communication skills.
• Basic understanding of compliance requirements.
