Associate – Corporate R&A (Institutional)

About the role

The Associate in Corporate R&A – Institutional will manage the end‑to‑end credit approval, review and monitoring process for institutional clients. You will work closely with relationship teams to service corporate customers while ensuring operational, compliance and reputational risk standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Support relationship teams in managing and growing institutional client relationships across products, divisions, and geographies.
• Build and maintain strong engagement with customers to understand their business objectives and banking needs.
• Conduct counter‑party, industry and financial analysis to support informed decision‑making.
• Ensure governance, compliance and operational requirements are met for a well‑managed portfolio.
• Identify, assess and escalate risks while supporting first‑line risk management practices.
• Collaborate with Relationship, Risk and Product teams to deliver integrated solutions for clients.

Required profile

• Solid experience within the banking and financial services industry.
• Strong credit analysis and financial assessment capabilities.
• Experience in credit risk management, with exposure to broader risk disciplines.
• Well‑developed conceptual and critical thinking skills for complex business and risk scenarios.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Proactive, collaborative approach with a focus on delivering strong customer and business outcomes.
