Associate Clinical and Sales Specialist - Cardiac Electrophysiology

About the role

Johnson & Johnson's MedTech division is hiring an Associate Clinical Specialist in Auckland to support Cardiac Electrophysiology. You will provide expert clinical and technical assistance to physicians and EP lab staff, helping them use Electrophysiology systems and catheter equipment such as the CARTO system, its software modules and RF generators during procedures. The role sits within the Medical Affairs Group, under Professional Medical Education.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales growth by delivering targeted strategies and business plans to exceed revenue goals and expand market share in Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Strengthen customer partnerships by building trusted relationships with physicians and hospital stakeholders to secure key accounts and long-term loyalty.
• Provide expert clinical support, ensuring flawless case preparation, troubleshooting and operation of proprietary hardware to optimise procedural success.
• Drive education and adoption by organising professional training events that accelerate product uptake and improve clinical outcomes.
• Optimise operations by managing consignment stock, expenses and reporting to maintain compliance and efficiency.
• Launch innovations by leading new product introductions and coordinating trials to position Biosense Webster as a market leader.

Required profile

• Preferred area of study: Health Sciences or Biomedical Engineering.
• Exceptional business partnering and communication skills.
• People management experience is a plus.
• Flexible to travel, with a minimum of 20% travel required.
• All applicants must have the right to work in New Zealand, a reliable car and a valid driver's licence.
