Assistant Store Manager – Retail Leadership

About the role

Mountain Warehouse is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to work alongside the Store Manager in Queenstown. You will help drive daily store operations, support a high‑performing team and ensure an outstanding shopping experience for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Manager to lead, motivate and develop a collaborative team.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards, housekeeping and health‑and‑safety compliance.
• Assist with recruitment, training and retention of store staff.
• Support achievement of sales targets and monitor key performance indicators.
• Oversee stock replenishment, delivery management and loss‑prevention initiatives.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and address feedback promptly.
